Have you experienced the death of a family member or friend? Join other recently bereaved individuals and Iowa City Hospice grief support staff to explore how to deal with that loss and grief.

We’ll talk about normal grief, facing the reality of death, dealing with the pain of the loss, remembering the person who died, developing a new self-identity, searching for meaning, and receiving ongoing support from others.  Iowa City Hospice grief support staff will bring topics to the group, and group members are encouraged to share their own experiences on those topics.

There is no fee for this program, but registration is required.

To register, contact Grief Counselor Chris Klug at 319-688-4205, 800-897-3052 or chris.klug@iowacityhospice.org.
