Iowa City Hospice Grief Support Services
"Grieving is as natural as crying when you are hurt, sleeping when you are tired,
eating when you are hungry, or sneezing when your nose itches.
It is nature's way of healing a wounded heart."
--Doug Manning
Following a patient’s death, Iowa City Hospice grief counselors are available to support surviving family members and friends throughout the grieving process.
Iowa City Hospice grief support services are also available to individuals throughout our service area (Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine and Washington counties) who are grieving a significant loss, regardless of whether the person who died was a hospice patient.
Iowa City Hospice grief support resources include support groups, individual grief counseling, grief and loss newsletters/mailings, educational programs and social events.
